When a broker or agent is involved with the properties, we are cautious. Because they offer it to other potential buyers behind our back. That does not work well, because in this way we cannot build our community and financing trustfully. We need the properties to be 'held in hand' for a while. Therefore, we never participate in tenders or only reluctantly.

You might also register as a 'partner group,' e.g., a shared apartment complex in California, an Ashram in India, or a TAO Center in Thailand. Or you can 'contribute' a large house for a Shanti project! We will then check if we can establish a new sheme at that location, either on a rental basis or for purchase. The group will use the property and help maintain it, representing you on-site. This way you have one worry less. We are open to brilliant ideas. For example, a historic sailboat in the Bahamas or a monastery in Andorra...  

... And then we live with a 'rotation principle.' This means that if someone gets tired of their room where they live, they can temporarily swap. This way we live 'rotationally,' like a Rolling Stone. And our residents and maybe even you, save costs for expensive holidays and hotels. And visitors too (guest rooms) can also experience something new in our community.
